Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Tang Po Lam Paula (trading as Worever, "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use the Worever mobile application (the "App") and website located at worever.app.

We designed Worever with an on-device first architecture. We believe your wardrobe, personal clothing photos, and daily outfits are intimate personal records that belong under your control.

1. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

By default, the core features of Worever operate locally on your iPhone:

• Wardrobe Inventory & Photos: Garment photographs, user-assigned tags (category, style, color, occasion, optional brand), and cutout images are stored locally in your device's secure sandbox (using SQLite / LocalVault).
• On-Device Background Cutout: Automatic background removal and speck cleaning are processed 100% on-device using native Apple Vision algorithms. Your clothing photos are not transmitted to cloud servers for standard cutout processing.
• Wear History & Outfit Diary: Worn logs, calendar plans, and notes stay on your device unless you choose to sign in to sync them across devices.

2. Optional Account & Cloud Sync

You can browse room themes, use the 53-piece starter wardrobe, and receive outfit styling without creating an account. If you choose to sign in (via Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or Email), we process:

• A pseudonymous user identifier provided by Firebase Authentication.
• Encrypted wardrobe data backups and sync records associated with your account identifier.

3. Third-Party AI Services & Disclosure (Apple Guideline 5.1.2(i))

Worever provides an optional feature called Custom Muse, which allows you to analyze an outfit image (such as an editorial screenshot or photo) to identify styling aesthetics and find matching items in your closet.

• Opt-In and Specific: Cloud AI processing only occurs when you explicitly upload or paste an image into the Custom Muse matcher.
• Transient Processing: The single photo you select is sent securely to Google Firebase AI Logic (Google Vertex AI) solely to extract aesthetic styling tags.
• Zero Training / No Provider Retention: The image is processed in real time and is never stored by the AI provider and never used to train AI models.

4. Third-Party Service Providers (Subprocessors)

We work with trusted service providers to deliver essential app functions:

• Authentication: Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) for secure account sign-in.
• In-App Purchases & Subscriptions: RevenueCat, Inc. and Apple Inc. (StoreKit) to verify subscription status and manage entitlements. We never collect or store your payment card numbers.
• Weather Forecasts: Apple WeatherKit to retrieve destination temperature and weather conditions based on city queries (we do not track or store your precise GPS location).
• App Analytics: Google Analytics for Firebase to record aggregated app health and performance metrics (e.g. app version, feature usage). Analytics events never contain emails, garment photos, or screenshot images.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion (Apple Guideline 5.1.1(v))

You have full control over your data at all times:

• In-App Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data directly inside the App by opening Settings → Reset and account → Delete account.
• Local Reset: You can reset your local wardrobe anytime in Settings → Reset to sample closet, which immediately deletes all locally stored garment photos and logs.
• Email Request: You may also request complete data deletion by emailing hello@worever.app.
